01Who we are
Codentum L.L.C. (“Codentum”, “we”) is a software company organized in Wyoming, United States. We operate codentum.net and are the party responsible for the information described in this policy.
02Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email hello@codentum.net or use the contact form, we receive the details you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company, and a description of what you are building. The contact form prepares an email in your own email application; we receive it only if you send it.
- Technical data. Like most websites, the services that host and deliver this site may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and timestamps in server logs. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and keep it reliable.
- Preferences on your device. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
04How we use information
We use the information we receive:
- to read and respond to your inquiry;
- to discuss and evaluate potential projects, products, and collaborations;
- to operate, secure, and maintain the website; and
- to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
05Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers for website hosting and content delivery, and for email. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own terms and privacy policies.
The site does not embed advertising, social media widgets, or third-party tracking scripts, and its fonts are served from our own domain.
06Data retention
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation, and then delete it or retain it only where the law requires. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for the period that provider sets.
07Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as access, correction, or deletion. To make a request, email hello@codentum.net; we will respond as applicable law requires. You can remove the stored theme preference at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
08Security
We use reasonable technical measures and rely on the security practices of our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information through the contact form or by email until we have agreed on a secure way to share it.
09Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10International use
Codentum is a United States company and operates remotely. Information you send may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate.
